Where we invest

Since 1994, we have applied a consistent approach to all our investments. We majority own mid-market companies headquartered in UK and France in four sectors: Consumer, Business Services, Healthcare and Financial Services.

We invest in companies with an enterprise value of between €50 and €300 million, although we have invested in smaller businesses with a clear plan for rapid build up. Fundamentally, we look to invest in profitable and sound companies with excellent growth potential. We do not provide start-up funding or look for turnaround situations.

We’ve consistently invested and grown companies within these sectors since 1988. We track businesses and get to know management teams over time, so that when they’re ready for investment, we can complete acquisitions outside competitive auction situations with significant access for due diligence. We look to apply conservative leverage, with a hands-on model for value creation.

Our focus on operational change means that ultimately our companies are more attractive to trade buyers meaning we can divest across economic cycles.
