Our performance
Our funds are currently invested in 9 portfolio companies with an estimated enterprise value of more than €2 billion and a turnover of €2.2 billion. Investments in these companies are spread over three funds.
Our record to date is impressive. Since 1994, we have secured capital gains of more than €1.4 billion for our investors. There have also been significant returns for the management teams we have worked with and their employees.
We have so far returned €1.1 billion to investors in our DS V fund through the sale of assets with an enterprise value of €2.2 billion.
Our latest 10 year fund – DS VI – was our biggest to date. It closed in June 2007 at €963 million against an initial target of €850 million. This brings total funds currently under management to €1.4 billion.
In the latest fund-raising effort, we saw strong demand from investors and welcomed new limited partners from Japan and Korea. We are delighted to be attracting more investors from Asia, a market which many of our portfolio companies see both as a source of new customers and as a potential location for their operations.
