Bob Scott
Bob brings a wealth of experience in the financial services sector to Duke Street. He is currently Chairman of Yell Group plc, Non-Executive Director of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group and the Swiss Reinsurance Company of Zurich and formerly senior Non-Executive Director of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc . Bob is also a Board member of Pension Insurance Corporation Holdings LLP.
Bob was a leading player in the international insurance industry and played a key role in the consolidation of the UK insurance sector. He retired as group chief executive of Aviva plc in 2001, having previously held the same position with CGU plc and General Accident plc where, from 1992, he had served as an Executive Director.
He was also Chairman of the Association of British Insurers in 2000-2001, having been a board member for four years, and a member of the President’s Committee of the Confederation of British Industry 1998-2000.
