Duke Street: Inspiring the Ambitious

Operating partners / Our Operating Partners are all highly experienced business people who have worked across industry at the highest level. They bring invaluable expertise to both Duke Street and our portfolio companies.

Although non-executive, they play a part in all aspects of our investment strategy from origination to contact building, throughout the investment lifecycle. They act as a vital bridge between us and the CEOs of our portfolio companies – forming one of the three vital elements of what we call the Duke Street Triangle.

Their job is to advise, support and guide our CEOs and to make sure the interests of Duke Street, its investors and our companies are sensibly balanced. Within the realm of Private Equity, they typically work exclusively with Duke Street, although many also hold non-executive positions with other public companies.

All of our Operating Partners are investors in our funds and in the portfolio companies where they are working as Non-Executive Directors. They are paid a retainer by Duke Street and also earn fees for their work on the boards of our companies.
